# Fonts Self-hosted so the app works with no network, as the Phase 1 wrapper did. | File | Family | Weights | Licence | |---|---|---|---| | `space-grotesk-var-latin.woff2` | Space Grotesk | variable, 400–700 | `OFL-Space-Grotesk.txt` | | `space-mono-400-latin.woff2` | Space Mono | 400 | `OFL-Space-Mono.txt` | | `space-mono-700-latin.woff2` | Space Mono | 700 | `OFL-Space-Mono.txt` | **Latin subsets only.** Dropped `latin-ext` and `vietnamese`, which takes the set from nine files to three, 68 KB against Barlow's 133 KB. Space Grotesk is a variable font, so one file covers every weight the app uses. Two glyphs the app needs fall outside the Latin subset and will render from a system fallback: `⏮` (U+23EE, in some DJ-mode labels) and `▾` (U+25BE). That is why the pickers draw their caret as inline SVG rather than typing the character. Both families are under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The licence text is reproduced here because the OFL requires it to accompany the fonts; the two files differ, since the copyright lines are not the same. `@font-face` declarations live in `src/styles/base.css`.
